Kipling is the western terminus of the Bloor–Danforth line in Toronto, Canada. The station is served by buses and subway trains operated by the Toronto Transit Commission and is adjacent to Kipling GO Station on the Milton line. It is located in the Islington-Six Points area on St. Albans Road at Aukland Road, just west of the overpass of Kipling Avenue, after which it is named. The Toronto Parking Authority operates 3 commuter parking lots near the station.
Kipling Station, in what was then the Borough of Etobicoke, opened to the public on 22 November 1980 along with Kennedy station as part of east-west extensions to the Bloor-Danforth line. As the western terminus of the line the subway station is built with a centre platform allowing trains to enter on either side. The platform walls are yellow with black stripes and has the station’s name in the Toronto Subway Font.
