About Our Quebec 5-Day Bartending Course
Since 2010, Local Bartending Schools (NEBS) has been training bartenders in the greater Quebec area. Our first school opened in Montreal, and we have since expanded to locations including downtown Vegas, Worcester, and Orlando, Florida. Read what Harvard College says about us!
We now offer a five-day, 20-hour bartending course held at the Holiday Inn and 19 other pre-approved local venues across Quebec.
In addition to this course, we offer other certification programs such as Bartending 101, Bartending 201, and Bartending 301. We also provide online programs, group classes, and in-person lessons tailored to local Quebec areas, including Montreal, Quebec City, and Gatineau. Bartenders in these areas can earn good tips, especially in tourist-popular locations such as Canada ski resorts, where ski tourists are known to be among the best tippers.
For pricing, schedule, and availability of these programs, please contact your local Quebec representative.

On-Premise and Off-Premise Quebec Alcohol Beverage Control Cards (ITHQ) Offered Here
Bas-Saint-Laurent, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Capitale-Nationale, Mauricie and Estrie require all servers to be trained and require all servers have an Alcohol Education Card. Many non-serving positions will also require a card even if you are not serving alcohol. Just being in the same establishment can be enough of a reason to get a card. Training is optional in all other counties, but a proctor is required to get the hard plastic Alcohol Education card.
Our students sit at the bar and watch our qualified instructors prepare and explain each drink in front of them. Our students then spend the rest of their class making the drinks behind an actual bar under the close supervision of our instructors.
