- It is a test required by the government of Alberta in order to serve alcohol.

ProServeis a mandatory certification for individuals serving alcohol in Alberta. Those 18 and older can obtain this certification. The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission, located at 50 Corriveau Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta T8N 3T5, oversees the ProServe program. This ensures responsible beverage service.
