- It is a test required by the government of Ontario.

The Serving It Right (SIR)certification is vital for responsible alcohol service in Ontario. This certificate is open to individuals 19 years and older. It is overseen by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, located at 90 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario M2N 0A4.
