About Our New Brunswick 7-Day Bartending Course

Since 2010, Local Bartending Schools (NEBS) has been training bartenders in the greater New Brunswick area. Our journey began in Moncton, and we have since expanded to locations including downtown Vegas, Worcester, Brooklyn in NYC, and Orlando, Florida. Read what the Harvard Business Newsletter says about us!

We now offer a seven-day, 40-hour bartending course at the Holiday Inn for only $949.00.

In addition to this course, we provide other certification programs such as Bartending 101, Bartending 201, and Bartending 301. We also offer online programs, group classes, and in-person lessons tailored to local New Brunswick areas including Fredericton, Saint John, and Bathurst.

We recommend reviewing our #1 Canada bartending course for comprehensive training. For pricing, schedule, and availability of these programs, please contact your local New Brunswick representative.

New Brunswick Bartending Certification Requirements

It’s Good Business is not mandatory under NB policy.

    •      • The course can be taken at any age, but you must be 19 years of age or older to serve liquor.

What is It’s Good Business?

Service in Action is a three-part program.

  1. An online study course

New Brunswick Certification Online

Courses may be taken online. However, an in-person final exam will be followed by a proctor.

LBS certification is valid throughout New Brunswick. New Brunswick accepts our online certification. The control board does not require a proctored exam, which means you don’t have to sit in front of a person to take the test. The test will take about half an hour. Additional proctoring fees apply. These fees are not included in the cost of the course.

On-Premise and Off-Premise New Brunswick Alcohol Beverage Control Cards (AON) Offered Here

Moncton requires all servers to be trained and requires all servers have an Alcohol Education Card. Many non-serving positions will also require a card even if you are not serving alcohol. Just being in the same establishment can be enough of a reason to get a card. Training is optional in all other counties, but a proctor is required to get the hard plastic Alcohol Education card.

Our students sit at the bar and watch our qualified instructors prepare and explain each drink in front of them. Our students then spend the rest of their class making the drinks behind an actual bar under the close supervision of our instructors.

Not in Moncton, St. John, Fredericton, Dieppe, and Edmundston?
Our mobile instructors will drive to your home. Our teachers will bring all of the equipment to you. Full certification is available through our mobile bartending school.
