Serving It Right (SIR) is a mandatory certification for individuals working in British Columbia’s alcohol-serving industry. To be eligible for the Serving It Right (SIR)certificate, individuals must be at least 19 years old. This program is managed by the British Columbia government, which operates from 800 Johnson Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 9M7. SIR provides effective training by ensuring workers are informed about responsible alcohol service.
