- It is a test required by the government of Ontario in order to serve alcohol.

The Smart Serveprogram in Ontario is essential for those serving alcohol. Individuals aged 18 and older are eligible. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, located at 90 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M2N 0A4, oversees the certification process. Participants must pass an online test to receive their certificate.
